Adjust the Screen Brightness, Colour Mode, and Colour Temperature

Adjust the Screen Brightness, Colour Mode, and Colour Temperature

You can set the screen brightness, colour mode, and colour temperature according to your preferences.

Automatically Adjust the Screen Brightness

Go to Settings > Display & brightness, and enable Automatic.

Your device will automatically adjust the screen brightness according to the ambient lighting conditions.

Manually Adjust the Screen Brightness

You can manually adjust the screen brightness using the following methods:

  • Swipe down from the upper right edge of the screen to display Control Panel. In the section, drag the slider to adjust the screen brightness.

  • Go to Settings > Display & brightness. In the section, drag the slider to adjust the screen brightness.

Adjust the Colour Mode

Go to Settings > Display & brightness > Colour > Colour mode & temperature, and select the colour mode that you prefer. Normal mode will be easier on your eyes and is therefore recommended.

  • Normal: natural colour tones

  • Vivid: vivid colour tones

Adjust the Colour Temperature

Go to Settings > Display & brightness > Colour > Colour mode & temperature, and select the colour temperature that you prefer. Default and Warm will be easier on your eyes and are therefore recommended.

  • Default: a natural tint

  • Warm: a yellowish tint

  • Cool: a whitish tint

  • You can touch anywhere on the colour circle or drag the spot to adjust the colour temperature.

Enable or Disable Natural Tone

Natural Tone enables your device to simulate the way human eyes adapt to ambient lighting to automatically adjust the colour temperature.

When the ambient lighting is of a warm colour temperature, the screen will take on a yellowish tint; when the ambient lighting is of a cold colour temperature, the screen will take on a whitish tint.

Go to Settings > Display & brightness > Colour, and enable or disable Natural Tone.
