| Ultra Snapshot on my HUAWEI phone/tablet does not work |
Problem:
When Ultra Snapshot is enabled and the screen is off, the camera cannot be started after the user double pressed the Volume down button.
If Ultra Snapshot is not found in Settings in the upper right corner of Camera, your device does not support Ultra Snapshot.
Cause:
- The setting for the camera to draw over other apps is disabled.
- Battery optimisation is allowed for Camera in the settings.
- Ultra Snapshot is not supported during calling or audio playback.
Solution:
- Go to and enable the switch.
- Open Settings, search for and access Battery optimisation, tap the triangle icon, select All apps, search for Camera, and select Don't allow.
- Double-pressing the Volume down button during calling or audio playback will adjust the call or media volume, and will not start Ultra Snapshot. You will need to end the call or stop audio playback and then try Ultra Snapshot.
- If the issue persists or you encounter any difficulties while doing this, please call the Huawei customer service hotline for assistance.
Thanks for your feedback.
