Problem:

On certain HUAWEI phones, such as the Mate 60 series, Mate X5, nova 12 series, and Pura 70 series, pressing the Power button does not switch to another Magazine Unlock image.

Cause:

After you enable a customised Magazine Unlock theme, the lock screen will always display the wallpaper of that theme to ensure the consistency between the AOD image, lock screen wallpaper, and home screen wallpaper. Therefore, you cannot switch to another Magazine Unlock image by pressing the Power button.

Customised Magazine Unlock themes include AOD, Art Star, Poster, Headline, Immersive Weather, Emoji, certain recommended themes, and classic themes.

Solution:

If you wish to switch to another Magazine Unlock image by pressing the Power button, perform the following steps:

1. Go to Settings > Home screen & style > Magazine Unlock, enable Magazine Unlock, and select several Magazine Unlock categories that you are interested in.

2. Return to the Home screen & style screen, touch Always display information, and touch Images to select an image as required.

3. Return to Home screen & style, go to THEMES > Online themes, select a third-party theme, and select Keep Magazine Unlock theme when downloading and applying the theme.
