- When the watch is paired with an iPhone running iOS 13.0 or later, Remote shutter is supported after you have opened the camera on the iPhone.
- Make sure that your watch/band is properly connected to the HUAWEI Health app, and the HUAWEI Health app is running in the background. You can check the connection status by going to HUAWEI Health > Devices.
- If the Remote shutter feature is unavailable on your watch, refer to Remote shutter on my HUAWEI watch/band does not work.
Problem
After the user taps the Remote shutter button (
) on their HUAWEI watch that's paired with an iPhone, the watch screen indicates a successful shooting, but the photo cannot be found in phone Photos.

Solution
- Disable and re-enable Bluetooth on your phone.
After restarting Bluetooth on your phone, open the pre-installed camera on your phone before using Remote shutter (
), and then check whether there are new photos in the Photos app. - Re-enable the camera or Photos access permission for the HUAWEI Health app.
Go to Settings > Apps > HUAWEI Health on your iPhone, disable and then re-enable the camera or Photos access permission for the HUAWEI Health app, and then open the camera again.
- Delete the device and pair it again.
Unpair your watch from the HUAWEI Health app by referring to Unpairing a watch or band from my phone. Then pair them and try again.
