Open de applijst en tik op 
om het scherm te laten oplichten. U kunt op het scherm tikken om de zaklantaarn uit te schakelen, opnieuw op het scherm tikken om deze weer in te schakelen en naar rechts over het scherm vegen of op de zijknop drukken om deze af te sluiten.
De zaklantaarn wordt standaard vijf minuten ingeschakeld.
De kleur van het pictogram kan variëren afhankelijk van het apparaattype.
