Unable to manually set Date & time on my HUAWEI phone/tablet

Unable to manually set Date & time on my HUAWEI phone/tablet

Problem

The user cannot set Date & time on their HUAWEI phone/tablet.

Cause

  1. You may have enabled Set automatically for Date & time.
  2. You may have enabled Youth mode (This is my kid's phone/This is my child's tablet) of Digital balance on your device.

Solution

  1. Disable the automatic setting.

    Open Settings, search for Set automatically, and disable Set automatically. You will then be able to set Date & time.

  2. Disable features like Digital Balance.

    Go to Settings > Digital balance/Digital Balance and disable Digital balance/Youth mode/Digital Balance.

  3. Deactivate via Device administrators.

    Open Settings, search for and access Device administrators, deactivate any activated apps, and try again.

  4. If the issue persists or you encounter any difficulties, please call the Huawei customer service hotline for assistance.
