How to enable screen rotation lock on a 2-in-1 laptop

How to enable screen rotation lock on a 2-in-1 laptop

After you remove the keyboard from the laptop, the screen image will switch between portrait mode and landscape mode when you rotate the laptop.

If you do not want the screen image to rotate, enable Rotation lock.

Precaution:

Rotation lock cannot be enabled in PC mode. To enable it, enable Tablet mode first.

To do so, perform the following steps:

  • Windows 10

    Swipe left from the right edge of the screen to display the action center, and enable Rotation lock.

  • Windows 11

    Press Win+I, go to System > Display > Scale & layout, and enable Rotation lock.
