Open a file in HEIC format

The HEIC format is developed by iOS, and cannot be opened by default in Windows 10. To open files with this format, perform the following:

1. Click the Microsoft Store icon on the taskbar. Enter HEIF Image Extensions in the search box in the top-right corner.

2. Click Installed. Follow the onscreen instructions to download and install it. Then, double-click files with the HEIC format to open it.
