The workout pauses automatically on my HUAWEI watch

The Auto-pause feature is only available in outdoor run, outdoor cycle, and track run modes.

• To set the Auto-pause feature (if this option cannot be found, this feature is not supported):
  • Method 1: Open the Workout app, select a workout mode, and tap the settings icon on the right and then Auto-pause.
  • Method 2: Go to watch Settings > Workout settings > Auto-pause.

• Your watch will automatically pause the workout and vibrate to notify you when it detects a certain period of inactivity, and will resume the workout when it detects increased activity.

If the Auto-pause feature is not enabled, the automatic workout pause may be due to accidental button presses or screen touches during the workout. Refer to the following to troubleshoot:

• Make sure that your watch is properly worn and does not come into contact with any clothes to prevent accidental touches.

  

• If you receive an Auto-pause notification but do not wish to pause, press the Up button or side button on your watch or tap the Start icon on the screen to continue the workout.

  

• A workout can be paused for up to one hour. After that, the workout session will end automatically with the previously tracked fitness data recorded.
