On the wearable end
- Updates cannot be performed on the wearable end when the device is paired with an iPhone.
- Only applicable to certain watch models, such as the HUAWEI WATCH GT 5 Series and HUAWEI WATCH GT 4 Series: Device updates on the wearable end can be performed when the watch is paired with a non-iPhone device.
- Notifications for wearable system updates cannot be disabled. Version rollback is not supported after an update.
- Enter the device app list and go to .
- Touch the update icon and follow the onscreen instructions to download the package and update your device.
On the phone end
Open the Huawei Health app, navigate to the device details screen, and touch Firmware update. Your phone will check for any available updates. Then follow the onscreen instructions to update your wearable device.
On the Firmware update screen, you can touch the settings icon in the upper right corner and toggle on Auto-download update packages over WLAN and Auto-install updates and restart the device when it's not in use, to have new versions automatically pushed to your wearable device for updates.
