What should I do if the power or volume button is stuck or does not rebound?

Problem

The power button and volume button are blocked or cannot be pressed, or the power button does not rebound smoothly or does not rebound after being pressed.

Cause

Generally, due to the high machining precision of the button and the hole of the middle frame, the problem occurs only when foreign objects enter the gap.

Solution

1. Keep the device as clean as possible during daily use. Do not place it where there are too many fine particles such as dust. And also, please avoid splashing coke, milk tea, juice and other drinks on the device. If such liquid enters the key gap, wipe it immediately with an absorbent paper towel or cloth to suck out the liquid in the gap.
2. If the key is totally stuck, back up your data and take your device and proof of purchase to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance.
