The screen doesn't rotate with my face after Auto-rotate is enabled |
Problem:
After Auto-rotate is enabled, the screen doesn't rotate with the user's face, and even rotates in the wrong direction when the user uses the phone while lying down.
Solution:
- If you were playing a game, using your phone to navigate, or in a dark environment, Auto-rotate will use the gravity sensor instead of the gesture sensor. In such cases, the screen won't rotate when your face orientation changes.
- Check whether Auto-rotate is working properly by doing the following: Enable Auto-rotate and place your phone on a flat surface parallel to the ground. Open a picture in Gallery and rotate your head while looking at the screen so that your face orientation changes. If the screen is able to detect the change in your face orientation and rotates accordingly, it indicates that Auto-rotate is functioning properly.
(a) If Auto-rotate functions properly, and the issue only occurs with certain third-party apps, there may be compatibility issues with the third-party apps in question. Huawei is working with relevant third parties on this issue. Please stay tuned for app updates.
(b) If Auto-rotate does not function properly, restart your phone and check again. If the issue persists, back up your data and take your device and proof of purchase to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance.
Thanks for your feedback.
