Problem:

When the phone/tablet performs a hard reset operation, it enters an interface and displays "software install failed!".

Cause:

Normally Turn off the phone/tablet. Once the phone/tablet is powered off, press and hold the power and volume up button (without inserting a USB cable) at the same time until the power-on screen is displayed.

The phone/tablet will enter into recovery mode and displays the recovery menu screen.

The “software install failed!” interface appears because the user presses the power button and middle position of the volume button at the same time.

This operation is to enter the SD card upgrade, but the SD card has not been configured, there will be a "software install failed" reminder.

Solution:

It is recommended that the user do not press the middle position of the volume button + power button when operating hard reset. Need to press the volume up button + power button
