Problem 1:

The album names in Files are different from those in Gallery.

Cause:

Gallery has processed the album names, supporting album name customization. On the contrary, Files shows the original album names. Therefore, the album names are different.

Solution:

You can change the album names in Gallery for them to be the same as those in Files. Alternatively, change the name of the album folders in the corresponding directory in Files.

If you cannot find the corresponding album folders in Files, search for the folder name in Files to obtain the directory.

Problem 2:

The number of pictures in Files is different from that in Gallery.

Cause:

1. Gallery displays pictures smaller than 30 KB, but Files does not.
2. If the pictures in Gallery have been uploaded to the cloud and you have touched Optimize device storage, Gallery will only show their thumbnails and the original pictures are saved only in Cloud.

Solution:

1. Go to Files > Me > Settings > Hide small images in Categories, and disable Hide small images in Categories.
2. Go to Settings > Log in to HUAWEI ID > Cloud > Gallery, and enable Sync Gallery. Then go to Gallery > Albums, access the related album, select the pictures involved, and download them from the cloud to your device.
