Restoring the kids watch to its factory settings will clear all call logs, chat records, messages, photos, and other personal data. Please back up your data before proceeding. To use the device again, you'll need to pair it with your phone again. Exercise caution when performing this operation.
- Contacts and friends of a kids watch are stored on the cloud, and will automatically sync to a new kids watch once the same child account is linked to it. However, data syncing is not supported between different child accounts.
When the watch is not linked with a phone
HUAWEI WATCH KIDS Series: Press the HOME button on the watch five times in quick succession to access the settings screen, then choose , and follow the onscreen instructions to restore the watch to its factory settings (no password required).
Other watches: Swipe down on the watch home screen to open the Control Panel, go to 
> Advanced, enter the default password 0000, then choose .
When the watch is linked with a phone
Before you proceed, make sure that the watch is powered on and connected to the Internet.
Main admin: Open HUAWEI FamCare, tap Devices, go to , and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the process.
- To check whether a watch is connected to the Internet, update its location on the HUAWEI FamCare home screen. If the watch's location cannot be obtained, it likely indicates a network issue. In this case, wait for the network to resume functioning before attempting a factory reset.
- If a factory reset fails through the HUAWEI FamCare app, you're advised to take the device and proof of purchase (or product box) to an authorized service center for assistance.
