L2HC does not improve audio quality significantly

Problem

Audio quality is not significantly improved.

Cause

1. Audio quality is not prioritized.
2. The audio source is not an HD audio source.

Solution

1. Open an HD audio file.
   1. Go to Settings > Bluetooth > Paired devices > (next to the earphones) > Audio quality > Prioritize audio quality.
   2. Open the AI Life app, connect to your earphones, and set Audio quality to Prioritize audio quality.
2. Use a source with good sound quality.

   HD audio sources refer to the audio sources with high sampling rates and bit widths. Such audio sources contain more audio details. Generally, the audio quality of audio sources with the sampling rates higher than 44.1 K@24 bit and the bit width higher than 48 K@24 bit is recommended. The earphones support HD Bluetooth codec with a higher bit rate, so you can select the 96 kHz@24 bit audio source for better effect. Take the HUAWEI Music app as an example, you can listen to music in the Hi-Res zone.

   

   The following phone models support HD audio: HUAWEI Mate 40, HUAWEI Mate 40 Pro, HUAWEI Mate 40 Pro+, HUAWEI Mate 40 RS PORSCHE DESIGN, HUAWEI P40, HUAWEI P40 Pro, and HUAWEI P40 Pro+. The software version must be EMUI 11.0 or later.
