Problem
When certain third-party phones are connected to both a car kit/a pair of earphones and a HUAWEI watch, the following may occur:
- When a call is initiated from or answered on the phone, the call audio is output from the phone receiver, rather than from the car kit/earphones.
- When a call is initiated from the car kit, the call audio is output from the phone receiver, rather than from the car kit.
- After an incoming call is answered on the watch, the phone switches the call audio to the car kit/earphones, but the audio is switched to the phone instead of the car kit/earphones.
Solution
Update your wearable device to the target version based on your device model.

If the issue persists
If the issue persists or you are using a HUAWEI watch of another model, switch the call to the car kit/earphones in any of the following methods and try again:
- When a call has been set up, switch the call to the car kit/earphones on the phone. You can try multiple times.
- When there is an incoming call, wait for 3–5 seconds, and then answer the call using the car kit/earphones.
- Disconnect your watch from your phone. In this case, when you make a call using the car kit/earphones, the audio will come from the car kit/earphones.
- On the Bluetooth screen of your phone, disconnect your car kit, and reconnect it again.
