The Huawei Health/HUAWEI Health app crashes

Make sure that your phone is running one of the following systems (If not, update the phone system first.):

HarmonyOS 2.0/Android 8.0/iOS 13.0 or later.

If your phone meets the system requirement and the Huawei Health/HUAWEI Health app crashes, perform the following methods:

  1. Update the Huawei Health/HUAWEI Health app to the latest version.
  2. Update the HMS Core (Huawei Mobile Service) version:

    • HUAWEI phones: Open AppGallery and find HMS Core. If an Update button is displayed on the right of the app name, the current version is not the latest. Click the Update button to update HMS Core to the latest version.
    • Non-HUAWEI phones: You can view and update HMS Core in the app store pre-installed on the device. If HMS Core cannot be found in the app store pre-installed on the device, download and install AppGallery, then search for and install HMS Core in AppGallery.
  3. If the issue persists, uninstall and then reinstall the Huawei Health/HUAWEI Health app.

Before uninstalling the Huawei Health/HUAWEI Health app, open the app, go to Me > Privacy management, and enable Sync personal info to cloud, Sync fitness data to cloud, and Sync health data to cloud. Then open the app again, go to Me > Settings > Sync data manually, touch SYNC, and wait until the progress bar reaches 100%.

  4. If you are using a phone running Android 12 or later, touch and hold the Huawei Health app icon on the home screen, go to App information > Permission management > Connect to nearby devices, and set the permission to Always allow.

If the issue persists or you encounter any difficulties, please contact the Huawei customer service hotline for assistance. We will do our best to address your needs.
