[HUAWEI] Errors occur on the SIM card selection screen in the Huawei Health app when I activate the eSIM service

The eSIM service is available only in some countries/regions and for certain carriers. For details, please refer to Carriers and regions that support the eSIM service on the watch.

This message "No SIM card in phone" is displayed in the Huawei Health app when activating the eSIM service

  1. Set the SIM card as the primary card (and as the default mobile data card).
  2. For phones running Android 12 or later, go to Settings > Apps > Health > Permissions > Phone permission, set Phone permission to Deny, and touch Allowed.

The desired carrier cannot be selected on the SIM card selection screen in the Huawei Health app when activating the eSIM service

Insert the SIM card of the carrier you want to select for activating the eSIM service into your phone and try again.

  • If you are using a dual-SIM phone, only one SIM card will be displayed in the Huawei Health app. In this case, you will need to set the SIM card of the carrier you want to select for activating the eSIM service as the default mobile data card.
