To install watch faces on your watch/band, refer to Managing watch faces. If an installation error occurs, troubleshoot the issue based on the applicable scenario.
The Huawei Health app keeps displaying a message indicating that the watch face is being downloaded
- Generally, the download process may take a long time or even fail due to unstable network conditions. Switch to a different network or use Wi-Fi, and try again.
- Some exquisitely designed watch faces come in large sizes, and take more time to download. Please wait patiently.
The Huawei Health app keeps displaying a message indicating that the watch face is being installed
Due to unstable Bluetooth transmission or Bluetooth hardware restrictions, it takes a while for a watch face to be sent from the Huawei Health app to your watch/band, and the message "Installing" is always displayed. Please wait patiently or try again.
The Huawei Health app displays a message indicating that the device memory is insufficient and you can delete some installed watch faces and try again, or the watch/band displays a message indicating that the number of watch faces has reached the upper limit.
If the watch memory is insufficient, perform the following steps:
- Open the Huawei Health app, go to Devices > My faces > Manage local watch faces.
- Delete some infrequently used official/third-party watch faces (not pre-installed on your watch/band) that take up a lot of memory.
- Try the installation again.
To reinstall a paid watch face that you have deleted (you do not need to purchase it again):
- If you have added the watch face to My favorites, you can find it by going to Huawei Health > Watch faces > Me > My favorites.
- If you have not added the watch face to My favorites, you can find it by going to Huawei Health > Watch faces > Me > My orders.
The watch face resources of different watch/band models vary in terms of image materials, resolution, functional components, and animation effects. As a result, the storage space occupied by a watch face may vary. Therefore, the number of watch faces that can be installed on different devices varies. For example, the file sizes of the watch faces for the Band 11 Series are larger than those of the previous generation, so fewer watch faces can be installed at the same time.
It takes a long time (more than 3 minutes) to install a watch face in the Huawei Health app
- Try downloading the watch face again in a different network environment or after connecting to a Wi-Fi network.
- Unpair the wearable from the Huawei Health app (by going to Devices >
> Unpair device), pair them again, and try again.
