The bubble effect in the pop-up window of HUAWEI FreeBuds 5 does not indicate that the device is being charged. Please rest assured.
Charging case
When the charging case is fully charged and the charger is not removed, the charging icon will still be displayed on the right side of the charging case's battery level. However, charging has actually stopped. The icon will disappear when you remove the charger.
Earphones
When the battery is close to being fully charged, the charging current decreases gradually for safety reasons and to prolong the battery lifespan. In this case, the battery level of the earphones is displayed as 100% and the charging icon will continue to display until the battery is fully charged.
When the FreeBuds 5 is close to being fully charged, the charging current decreases gradually for safety reasons and to prolong the battery lifespan. In this case, the battery level of the earphones is displayed as 100% and the charging icon and "SuperCharge" will continue to display until the battery is fully charged.
