Blocking ads in the Edge browser in Windows 11

To block ads in Microsoft Edge, perform the following:

1. Open Microsoft Edge, click the three-dot settings icon in the upper right corner, and select Extensions.

   

2. Click Get extensions for Microsoft Edge.
   

   In some versions, you need to click Get Extensions from Microsoft Store.

   

3. Enter the name of an ad blocker that you want to install, such as AdBlock, in the search box. Click Get to download it.
   

   AdBlock is just used as an example, and you can also install other blockers. If the ad blocker does not work, contact its developers for help.

   

4. Click Add Extension.

   

5. After the download is complete, this extension will be automatically enabled in your browser to help you block ads.
