My ears or nasal bridge feels sore after wearing HUAWEI Eyewear for a long time

  • It is recommended that you try out the glasses in a store before purchasing them.
  • Do not heat or bend the arms or nose pads of the glasses. As the arms contain electronic components, heating or bending them will damage the product.

The style and size of the glasses may not be suitable for you, resulting in discomfort or pain. It is recommended that you visit a flagship store or experience store and select a pair in a suitable style and size before purchasing the glasses. Try the following to feel more comfortable when wearing your glasses:

  • Adjust the glasses in authorized stores

It is recommended that you go to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center or an authorized glasses store to adjust the glasses and nose pads. Do not heat or bend the arms of the glasses, as this may damage the electronic components inside the glasses.

  • Use accessories

If adjusting the position of the nose pad does not relieve the pain, you can buy a larger size of the air cushion silicone nose pad in a regular glasses store to reduce the pain of the nasal bridge.

  • Use light and thin lenses

The overall weight of the glasses will increase if the lenses are relatively thick. This can cause discomfort or pain when wearing the glasses. It is recommended that you use light and thin/high refractive index lenses.

If your myopia is greater than 500° and you wear titanium silver browline eyewear or frameless eyewear, it is recommended that you inform the engineers at a professional optical shop to reduce the lens size appropriately to improve wearing comfort.

    • If you wear a mask while wearing the glasses, it is recommended that you adjust the position of the mask straps to avoid friction between the arms and your ears.
    • If you wear a headphones while wearing the glasses,it is recommended that you adjust the position of the headphones to avoid discomfort caused by the headphones and glasses legs squeezing your ears.
    • If your skin is red, swollen, or broken due to the size of the glasses being unsuitable, stop wearing the glasses and consult a doctor in a timely manner.
    • Parts of the product that often touch the skin have passed strict allergy tests and harmful material tests, so you can rest assured during use. However, a few people may feel uncomfortable when touching certain materials. In this case, it is recommended that you stop wearing the glasses and consult a doctor in a timely manner.
    • If your skin is slightly reddish or itching after beginning to wear the glasses, stop wearing them promptly and check whether the arms are too short or too tight. You can replace the rear hinge, or adjust the glasses in a Huawei Customer Service Center or an authorized glasses store to ensure that glasses fit your head.
