[HUAWEI] Unable to pair my wearable device with another phone |
If you cannot find your wearable device in the Huawei Health app, or the app displays a message indicating that the pairing has failed, when pairing your wearable device with another phone, perform the following steps:
- Update your wearable device and the Huawei Health app to their latest versions.
- Unpair your wearable device from the Bluetooth of the phone that it was previously connected to, and from the Huawei Health app. The detailed steps are as follows:
If the paired phone is not on hand or is lost, restore your wearable device to its factory settings on its settings screen. (Before doing so, remember to back up your important data.) Then pair your wearable device to another phone.
- To unlink your wearable device from the Huawei Health app:
Open the Huawei Health app, touch Devices, then touch the wearable device you wish to delete, touch
in the upper right corner of the device details screen, touch Unpair device, and pair your devices again.
- To unlink your wearable device from the phone Bluetooth:
- For Android users: Go to
- For iOS users, go to Settings > Bluetooth, touch

3. Make sure that your wearable device is ready for pairing.

- HUAWEI S-TAG: Power the device on, or wake it up. To power on the device, charge it or hold down on the button for two seconds. If this is the first time you are using the device, the indicator will light up. To wake up the device, remove it from the charging cradle and shake it or press the button.
- HUAWEI TalkBand B6: Go to Settings > System > Connectivity > Disconnect.
- HUAWEI TalkBand B5: Swipe on the device screen and go to More > Pairing.
- For other devices, go to the Settings screen of your wearable device and restore it to its factory settings. (Back up your important data before doing so.)
- If you're using a watch, go to Settings > System > Connect more, where you can link your watch with the Huawei Health app on a HUAWEI Vision. These steps are exclusively for linking with HUAWEI Vision products.
4. If the pairing still fails, use a phone running a different system and try again.
5. If the issue persists, please refer to [HUAWEI] My wearable device fails to pair with the Huawei Health app when pairing for the first time for troubleshooting.
Note for pairing with an iPhone:
- Before restoring the connection, check and restore the Bluetooth connection with the phone system (please note that your wearable device will have two identical Bluetooth names and you'll need to connect both of them with your phone), and then open the HUAWEI Health app to establish a connection.
- It is recommended that you do not modify the Bluetooth name of your wearable device in Settings > Bluetooth. Otherwise, the wearable device can only be connected via the system Bluetooth, and won't be able to be paired through the HUAWEI Health app. If you have changed the Bluetooth name before, touch "X" next to the Bluetooth name to restore the previous name.
