Gallery data on your phone does not match the cloud space gallery

Gallery data on your phone does not match the cloud space gallery

Problem Cause 1

Gallery sync is not enabled, or some albums disabled the sync function.

Solution

Please enter Settings > Huawei Account > Cloud > > Gallery , and turn on the Sync Gallery switch. After doing so, photos and videos will be automatically uploaded to the Cloud. If you need to sync other albums, go to Gallery > the four dots icon in the upper right corner > Settings > Cloud Gallery > Sync albums to Cloud , and enable the sync switch for the corresponding album to sync its data to the Cloud.

Problem Cause 2

Synchronization is incomplete.

  1. No network connection.
  2. Synchronization is in progress, not yet completed.
  3. Insufficient cloud space.

Solution

  1. The Cloud gallery sync feature requires an internet connection to operate. We recommend connecting your device to a WLAN network and then triggering the gallery sync. If you wish to sync photos and videos using mobile data, please go to Gallery > the four dots in the upper right corner > Settings > enable Use mobile data.

     
    • Syncing consumes a significant amount of data, so we recommend performing syncs in a WLAN environment.
    • When the battery level is below 10%, the cloud gallery will not perform automatic syncs.
  2. Please enter Gallery > the four dots icon in the upper right corner > Settings > Cloud Gallery, turn on the Sync albums to Cloud, and if a "Updating" prompt appears, it means the gallery sync is still in progress. Please keep your device connected to the internet, wait patiently for the sync to complete, and once finished, this area will display "Updated Just Now."

  3. Go to Settings > Huawei Account > Cloud > > Gallery to check if your cloud space is sufficient. If the cloud space is insufficient, please upgrade your cloud storage.
