How to set the firewall function of my router using the AI Life app

The firewall function can detect and identify attacks from other devices and notify you of potential risks to ensure network security. The firewall function provides Brute force attack prevention and LAN firewall functions.

You can perform the following in the AI Life app:

1. Connect your phone to the router's Wi-Fi network.
2. Open the AI Life App, touch the corresponding router to access the router management screen.
3. Touch Firewall. On the displayed security firewall screen, set related parameters as required.

   

   Brute force attack prevention

   Brute force attack prevention helps you detect and identify brute force cracking and notifies you that a malicious device is attempting to crack the Wi-Fi password. You can view the information about the attacking device in Records on the home screen and blocklist the device. After the device is blocklisted, it will not be able to crack the Wi-Fi password again.

   

    

   • Brute force attack prevention is enabled by default. To disable it, touch DEACTIVATE on the home screen of Brute force attack prevention.
   • After the router is restarted, the number of brute force cracking attempts and information about the attacking devices will not be saved, but the rules will still take effect.

   LAN firewall

   LAN firewall helps you identify malicious attacks and prevent hackers from stealing private data such as payment passwords and accounts, ensuring the data security of your home devices. The network anti-hijacking function is enabled by default. You can view historical attack information on the home screen or touch Disable protection in the upper right corner to disable this function.

   

   

   After the router is restarted, the interception records of LAN firewall will not be saved, but the rules will still take effect.
