Kindly check if you can recall your PIN. If you find it impossible to remember it, you're advised to restore your wearable device to its factory settings and then set a new PIN, for the sake of your privacy and security.
Notes:
- Once your wearable device is restored to its factory settings, all your personal data will be cleared, transportation card migration will be triggered (if the transportation cards support migration), and access cards and bank cards will be removed. Please exercise caution before proceeding.
- HUAWEI WATCH 3 Series and HUAWEI WATCH 4 Series: During a factory reset, make sure the box for Delete eSIM configuration is unchecked. This is to ensure that you can continue using the eSIM service after the system reset, without having to contact your carrier to deregister and re-activate the service.
Resetting your watch/band when you've forgotten your PIN
- Smart watches (such as the HUAWEI WATCH 3 Series and HUAWEI WATCH 4 Series): When you enter incorrect PINs eight consecutive times, the message "Forgot your PIN?" will display. Touch Forgot your PIN?, press the Down button more than three times in a row, and touch Reset.
- Other devices: When you enter incorrect PINs several times in a row, the Reset button will display. Touch Reset.
Resetting your watch/band through a connected phone
- Open the Huawei Health app, touch Devices and then the connected device's card to visit the device details screen, and select Reset.
- Resetting your wearable device through your phone is only possible when the two devices are connected. If not, you'll need to reset your wearable through its own settings by following the steps in the section above "Resetting your watch/band when you've forgotten your PIN".
