The magnetic flap of the HUAWEI Smart Magnetic Keyboard (Compatible with HUAWEI MatePad Pro 11-inch) cannot be folded flat or attached smoothly when being bent

Problem:

When the HUAWEI Smart Magnetic Keyboard is not attached, the magnetic flap cannot be folded flat and one end may be misaligned, as shown in the following figure.

Cause:

The HUAWEI Smart Magnetic Keyboard can be used in laptop, split, or studio form by bending the magnetic flap in different ways. The leather material used for the magnetic flap has a "memory" effect, which enables it to form a stable support for the tablet after being used for a period of time in a given position.

When the keyboard is detached in split or studio form and you need to adjust the position, bend the magnetic flap by applying a little force, so that the keyboard forms a new "memory" in the new position.

Solution:

If you would like to fold the magnetic flap, apply a little force to the two creases as shown below. This does not affect your normal use of the keyboard.

1. Fold outwards along the first crease and fix it in place by applying a little force.

2. After folding back, smooth the joint from the middle towards the outside edges and fix it in place by applying a little force.

   

   Expected effect:

   

3. If the keyboard is still slightly misaligned, repeat the preceding steps.
