Alarms on your HUAWEI watch/band |
You can set alarms using either your wearable device or the Huawei Health app on your phone.
Setting an alarm using your wearable device
- Enter the app list, select Alarm, and touch + to add an alarm.
- Set the alarm time and repeat cycle, and then touch OK. If no repeat cycle is set, the alarm will go off only once.
- Touch an existing alarm to modify the alarm time and repeat cycle, or to delete the alarm.
Set an alarm using Huawei Health
- Open Huawei Health, navigate to the device details screen, and touch Alarm.
- Touch Add and set the alarm time, alarm name, and repeat cycle.
- If you're using Android or EMUI, touch
in the upper right corner. If you're using iOS, touch Save.
- Touch an existing alarm to modify the alarm time, name, and repeat cycle. You can also delete the alarm.
- When all the settings are done, the alarms set in Huawei Health will automatically sync to your wearable. You can also swipe down on the Huawei Health home screen and manually sync data to your device.
- For wearable devices that support wrist-based input methods, such as the HUAWEI WATCH GT 5 Series, you can change an alarm name on the wearable. This name will display on the device screen when the alarm goes off.
- When your wearable is connected to a HUAWEI phone running EMUI 10.1 or later, you'll be notified via your wearable as well when a phone alarm goes off. You can then stop or snooze the alarm on either your wearable or phone. (You won't be able to view phone alarms, i.e. those added using the Clock phone app, on your wearable.)
- When an alarm vibrates, you can touch
, swipe right on the wearable screen, or press the side button, to snooze the alarm (for 10 minutes). Touching
will stop the alarm. An alarm will automatically snooze itself if no operations are performed within one minute, and will come to a complete stop after three auto snoozes.
- Alarms won't go off on your wearable device if it's powered off.
- Different devices may support different quantity of alarms. For details, open Huawei Health, navigate to the device details screen, touch Alarm, and check the number of alarms that can be set.
Setting the alarm volume
- Band modes will only vibrate for an alarm. Even when the Vibration is set to Off, the device still vibrates.
- Certain watch models (such as the HUAWEI WATCH 3 Series) will only vibrate for an alarm. If ringtone is enabled but your wearable doesn't ring for alarms, it means ring notifications for alarms are unavailable on your device.
You can adjust the alarm volume in either of the following ways (depending on your device):
- Enter the app list on your wearable device, go to , and make the adjustment based on your needs.
