Problem

Audio lags when playing audio or video on a non-HUAWEI phone (such as a Xiaomi, OPPO, vivo, Samsung, or iOS phone) with Low audio latency enabled.

Cause

When Low audio latency is enabled, the earphones preferentially transmit signals for games, while reducing priority of other audio such as music or videos, which causes the audio to lag.

Solution

Enable Low audio latency only when playing a game, and disable it when playing audio or video, for an optimal listening experience. You can do so as follows:

• FreeBuds series//FreeLace Pro 2 earphones: Open the AI Life app, access the earphones card, select Settings, and disable Low audio latency.
• WATCH Buds earphones: Open the Huawei Health app, touch Device, open the device details screen, and go to Earbuds > Settings > Low audio latency.
