The videos play as a black screen when I post them in WeChat Moments or to my WeChat video account, or the playback of original videos in WeChat stutters

Problem:

  1. When the user posts HD videos with a resolution greater than or equal to 1920 x 1080 to their WeChat Moments, the videos display and play as a black screen.
  2. When the user posts HD videos with a resolution greater than or equal to 1920 x 1080 to their WeChat video account, the videos take a long time to load. Before posting, on the preview and editing screen, the video appears as a black screen.
  3. When the user plays the original videos in WeChat, the playback of some HD videos with a resolution greater than or equal to 1920 x 1080 stutters.

To view the video resolution, save a video to Gallery and touch the exclamation mark in the upper right corner.

Solution:

  1. While playing an HD video, go to Optimizer > App launch, disable Manage automatically for apps (such as video, live stream, screen projection, and screen recording apps), restart your phone, and try again.
