When the SwiftKey input method is used and the switch for automatically displaying or hiding the virtual keyboard is turned on, the soft keyboard pops up and disappears repeatedly, preventing me from inputting text

Problem

The user cannot input text using the SwiftKey input method when the switch for automatically displaying or hiding the virtual keyboard is turned on, as the soft keyboard pops up and disappears repeatedly.

Cause

SwiftKey incorrectly determines the control scenario on the virtual keyboard.

Solution

For a better typing experience, switch the input method to Celia Keyboard. To do so, go to Settings > System & updates > Language & input, and select Celia Keyboard.

If the user still wants to use the SwiftKey input method, advise them to go to Settings > Typing > Physical keyboard and disable Automatically show/hide virtual keyboard.
