Glare, stray light, ghosting, bright dots, or purple spots occur in the preview when a HUAWEI phone takes photos in light |
Problem:
When the front or rear cameras are used to take photos in light, the following problems occur:
1. When a rear camera is used to take photos of in-light objects in a low-light environment, ghosting, bright spots, and bright dots occur in the preview.
2. Purple halo or petal-shaped glare displays in the preview when a rear camera is used to take photos in the sun, sunset, or lamp light.
3. Purple spots appear on the preview when the wide-angle camera is used to take photos of backlit objects.
4. Stray light occurs on the preview when the front camera is used to take a selfie in strong light.
Solution:
When taking photos in light, due to complex reflections between the lens inside the camera and the glass on the rear cover, bright spots, arcs, purple halos, or petal-shaped spots may appear in photos or videos, and their positions change with the position of the lens and light source, which is a normal optical phenomenon. This problem is inevitable in the industry and also happens on single-lens reflex cameras. It is recommended that you:
- Avoid installing a non-original protective case or lens film on the phone.
- Use clean soft cloths to wipe the cameras thoroughly to remove any smudge or oil stain on them, and try again.
- Avoid taking photos or recording videos in strong light. You can adjust the shooting angle for the best shooting effect.
