[Problem Phenomenon]

Huawei P40 Pro did not receive a warning alert in Austria during the storm

[Problem Cause]

Devices with EMUI 12 or older do support only A1 operator in Austria. As a result, the broadcast messages are not shown for HOT and T-Mobile operators.

[Temporary Solution]

  • Advise CU to use devices on EMUI 13 (such as P50 Pro or newer)
  • Switch operator to A1 Austria
