If an app crashes, does not respond, stops running, or cannot be opened, please try the following operations:

1        Restart the app.

Go to Settings > Apps > Apps and find the app. On the App info page, tap FORCE STOP. Then, open the app to restart it.

2        Clear app cache.

· If the device system memory is insufficient, some apps that occupy a large amount of memory may crash and do not respond. In this case, it is recommended that you clear the storage space of the phone in time to ensure at least 20% of available memory.

· The cache file of the app may be abnormal. In this case, you need to delete app data:

Go to Settings > Apps > Apps and find the app. On the App info page, choose Storage > CLEAR DATA.

Note that the clearing data operation may result in some app data loss, such as WA. Therefore, before clearing app data, you are advised to back up your app data in advance.

3        Uninstall and reinstall the app.

3.1 Touch and hold the app icon on the desktop, and tap Uninstall.

3.2 Then, download and install the app again from Huawei AppGallery.

Note that uninstalling the app will delete app data, such as WhatApp and Instagram. Please back up your data before the uninstallation.

4        Issue persists

If the issue persists, provide the fault information, video, app version, and contact Huawei Customer Service Hotline for assistance.
