General method
The stylus has been connected to the tablet/phone. Select the path based on the system version of the tablet/phone to find the SN.
- HarmonyOS 4.x or earlier: Go to . Serial number shows the SN of the stylus.
For HUAWEI M-Pencil Pro
Query the SN of the stylus using the MAC.
- The MAC of HUAWEI M-Pencil Pro is a 12-digit code located at the end of the stylus barrel. (You need to remove the stylus tip to view the code.)
- Open Warranty Period & Support Service Query | HUAWEI Support Global, enter the MAC, and tap Search.
For HUAWEI M-Pencil (3rd generation)
The SN or MAC of the HUAWEI M-Pencil (3rd generation) is located at the end of the stylus barrel. There is no functional difference between the two codes.
Remove the stylus tip and check the code.
- If the code on the stylus barrel is 16-digit, it is the SN of the stylus.
- If the code on the stylus barrel is 12-digit, it is the MAC of the stylus. Open Warranty Period & Support Service Query | HUAWEI Support Global, enter the MAC, and tap Search.
For HUAWEI M-Pencil (1st generation) and (2nd generation)
The SN of the stylus is a 16-digit code and is located in the groove at the stylus tail. The SN is engraved on the stylus body with a light color for better product appearance. You can rotate the stylus under the light to check the SN.
