Parents can manually set alert zones to keep track of their child's location.
- A maximum of five alert zones can be set.
- Once Alert zones is enabled, the watch will be periodically located, which drains the battery faster.
- The Alert zones feature is unavailable when the watch's battery level is low, or the watch is in Ultra Power Saver mode, overtemperature protection mode, or power-off mode.
Setting an alert zone
- Open the HUAWEI FamCare app, go to the Protection screen, swipe up on the card at the bottom, expand Protections, and tap Alert zones.
- Tap Add, search for a specified location in the search bar at the top, tap Draw area, draw a closed area, and tap
to save the area. - After Alert zones is enabled, the admin will receive a notification in the notification bar on their phone or in the Location reminders card on the Protection screen of the HUAWEI FamCare app when the child leaves or arrives at the preset area.
Disabling alert zone notifications
On the Protection screen of HUAWEI FamCare, swipe up on the card at the bottom of the screen, tap to expand Protections, select Alert zones, and disable Alert zones.
Deleting an alert zone
On the Protection screen of HUAWEI FamCare, swipe up on the card at the bottom of the screen, tap to expand Protections, select Alert zones, touch and hold an alert zone, and tap Note.
