When the watch is connected to the phone and Bluetooth earphones at the same time and a Bluetooth call is made or answered on the watch (with the earphones disconnected from the phone), the audio is played from the watch instead of the earphones. In this scenario, the watch serves as the sole device for audio playback and cannot transmit the audio to the earphones.

Solution

To use your Bluetooth earphones for calls, pair them with your phone and use the earphones to answer the call, or answer it on your phone and switch the audio to the earphones.

 
  • The above applies only to HUAWEI phones that do not support Bluetooth automatic switchover, HUAWEI watches, and third-party phones (such as Apple and Xiaomi).
  • When your watch has eSIM enabled and is independently connected to your Bluetooth earphones, you can make eSIM calls on your watch directly using the earphones.
