Remote shutter feature on HUAWEI earphones

The Remote shutter feature is available on FreeArc/FreeClip/FreeBuds series/FreeLace Pro 2 earphones when using with the pre-installed Camera app on phones/tablets running HarmonyOS 2.0 or later. Strike a pose, and double-tap or pinch the earphone to snap a shot.

To use this feature:

  1. Pair and wear your earphones.
  2. Open the pre-installed Camera app on your phone. Then, take a photo with gesture control on the earphone.
    • FreeArc/FreeClip/FreeBuds series: Tap, double-tap, or pinch an earphone to take a photo.
    • FreeLace Pro 2: Press the Play/Pause button on the control panel to take a photo.

    • To use the Remote shutter feature, you need to set a Play/Pause gesture shortcut. You can set a gesture shortcut by finding the earphones card in AI Life app, and touching Gestures.
    • This feature is unavailable when you are using a camera app other than the pre-installed Camera app.
