[HUAWEI] The resting heart rate is not displayed or inaccurate on my watch/band |
Ensure that Continuous heart rate monitoring is enabled by opening the Huawei Health app, going to the device details screen, and going to Health monitoring > Continuous heart rate monitoring. If the issue persists, troubleshoot as follows depending on which issue you are experiencing.
The resting heart rate is not displayed
It is recommended that you wear your HUAWEI watch/band before you go to sleep, and keep still for more than 10 minutes after waking up. The best time to measure your resting heart rate is after you wake up in the morning while keeping still. If you are moving during this period, you will not meet the requirements for resting heart rate monitoring, and your resting heart rate may not display.
The resting heart rate displayed is inaccurate
- Update your watch/band to the latest version. We will continue to optimize the algorithm to improve the accuracy of your device's resting heart rate measurements.
- It is recommended that you wear your watch/band as long as possible. Your watch/band will continuously detect your heart rate and determine whether it is your resting heart rate. Your watch/band will analyze your health data of the current day in real time and provide you with your resting heart rate value at an appropriate time. Wearing your watch/band as long as possible while at rest can help the device obtain a more accurate resting heart rate. Changes in your emotional and physical state, and long-term exercise will all affect your resting heart rate measurements.
