- Confirm Device Compatibility：Please refer to the guide 《Compatibility between HUAWEI tablets and keyboards》 to ensure your keyboard is compatible with your tablet.
- Reconnect and Pair：Re-attach the tablet to the keyboard or slot.
- Clean the Contact Points：Wipe the keyboard contact points and the corresponding magnetic attachment on the tablet with a tissue, and then try connecting again. (Note: Some keyboards do not have contact points; please ignore this step if is not applicable).
- Check Keyboard Battery Level：Connect the keyboard to the tablet to charge it. Keep it connected for at least 10 minutes, then press the Caps key on the keyboard to check if the indicator light is on.
- Caps light not on: We recommend you bring your tablet, keyboard, and proof of purchase to a Huawei Customer Service Center for inspection.
- Caps light on: (Steady or flashing). Please proceed with the follow the steps below.
- Unpair/Forget the Device：Go to or .Click the icon next to the keyboard name and select Unpair/Forget.
- Restart the Tablet and Keyboard：Restart your tablet, and then follow the steps below to restart the keyboard.
Separate the keyboard from the tablet.Press and hold the D, F, and U keys on the keyboard in sequence for more than 20 seconds.The keyboard will restart, and then reconnect it to the tablet.

If the issue persists, back up your data and take your device and proof of purchase to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance. (Tip: Feel free to call the Huawei consumer service hotline for assistance before going to a Huawei Customer Service Center.) We will do our best to address your needs.
