Blood pressure measurements on my HUAWEI WATCH D/D2 fail or generate no results
Blood pressure measurements on my HUAWEI WATCH D/D2 fail or generate no results |
During blood pressure measurement, the watch shows 0 mmHg or the airbag doesn't inflate
If the watch has been powered off or disconnected from your phone for a long time, the time display may be incorrect, and it may not show blood pressure readings properly. Restore the Bluetooth connection by pairing your watch again with your phone or with Huawei Health, and try again.
The prompt "Deflating... Cuff pressure out of range. Measurement ended. Try again later." displays
The pump supports a measurement range of 0–300 mmHg (0–40 kPa). Pressure values outside of this range are not supported on this product. It is recommended that you take a break and try again after ensuring the device is worn tightly.
The prompt "Wear the watch during the measurement." displays for blood pressure measurement
Blood pressure, heart rate, and SpO2 monitoring accuracy may be affected by factors like arm hair, tattoos, and scars, which can even lead to unsuccessful measurements. Avoid wearing your watch over a tattoo or scar. Typically, the watch should be worn about two fingers' width away from the palm, not over the ulna styloid protrusion.
The prompt "Measurement failed" displays for blood pressure measurement
* If you have severe anemia, a very weak pulse, or an abnormally low or high heart rate (below 40 or above 180 bpm), do not use this product to measure your blood pressure.
- During a measurement, bend your elbow with your palm facing your chest. Hold your elbow with your other palm and make sure your watch is level with your heart, but not pressing against the airbag or your chest. Your wrist and palm should be naturally relaxed. Do not clench your fist or cross your legs. Keep both feet flat on the ground.
- It is recommended that you rest for at least 5 minutes before a measurement, to ensure optimal accuracy. Blood pressure measurements may fail due to body movements, such as those caused by deep breathing, coughing, shaking, yawning, sneezing, and speaking. Please stay still during measurements.
The prompt "Heartbeat irregular." displays for blood pressure measurement
Arrhythmia could cause blood pressure measurements to fail or generate no results. Try having someone else use the watch to see if it works properly.
If the issue persists or the airbag fault is beyond your capability to handle, take your device and proof of purchase to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance.
