When the network speed is slow and the size of a message is large, there may be a delay for the message to be sent, which is normal. If it takes too long, perform the following operations.
A delay on the watch when receiving a message
- Swipe down the status bar on the watch to check whether the watch's network signal is strong and the up and down arrows for its data service are displayed normally. The watch can only receive chat messages in a timely manner when the watch's network signal is strong and data service is normal.
- Configure a Wi-Fi network for the watch and try again.
- Press and hold the Power button to restart the watch and ensure that the HUAWEI FamCare app is running the latest version.
To check whether the HUAWEI FamCare app is running the latest version, open the app, touch
in the upper left corner, and check its version.
A delay on the phone when receiving a message
- Switch to Wi-Fi or mobile data for your phone and try again.
- The background protection and message notification permissions are not set correctly for the HUAWEI FamCare app. In this case, set the background protection for the app on your phone.
