For best results, you are advised to use a standard Huawei flip cover.
Enable Smart Cover Mode
Go to 
, and enable Smart cover. If the flip cover comes with a display window, enable Use display window as well.
Open or Close the Flip Cover
Flipping open the cover will light up your device and show the lock screen (or Magazine Unlock screen).
Closing the flip cover will lock the screen of your device if it is on standby.
When a flip cover with a display window is closed, you can check the date, time, weather, and more in the window.
Answer or End Calls When Using a Flip Cover
If you are using a flip cover without a window, you can close the cover and continue with the current call. Open the cover to hang up.
If your flip cover has a display window, you can answer or end a call from the window. Close the flip cover to hang up (works for both current and incoming calls).
