Unable to use the taskbar and load the desktop icons after I install AutoCAD 2010 |
Problem
After the user has installed AutoCAD 2010, it takes a considerable amount of time for the computer to enter the system. Icons on the desktop turn white and the screen turns black. After that, the screen is sometimes normal and then sometimes faulty. The computer alternates between working normally and not working normally. The user right-clicks the taskbar but is unable to use it. After clicking multiple times, the screen flashes (this is Explorer restarting) and the computer does not go back to normal after that.
Cause
This happens because AutoCAD 2010 is not compatible with the computer.
Solution:
- According to the official introduction to AutoCAD, it is recommended that users install AutoCAD version 2016 or later.
- If you still need to use AutoCAD version 2010, remove the "C:\windows\system32\ AcSignIcon.dll" file. Please note that removing this file will affect the use of some CAD functions.
