Method 1: Update the stylus pen on the Settings screen.

Perform the following:

Ensure that your stylus pen and phone have been paired, then enter "stylus pen" in the search box after accessing the Settings screen (or after swiping down on the home screen). You will then be able to access the corresponding screen to see a firmware upgrade option.

Touch Firmware update to search for the latest version. If a new version is available, touch Update.

Note:

1. A new version will not be displayed if the current version is already up to date.

2. If you're prompted with a message that says your phone or stylus pen is low on power, charge it promptly.

Method 2: Confirm on the prompt to update the stylus pen.

Perform the following:

Insert the stylus pen into your phone and check if an update prompt is displayed.

If the prompt is displayed, touch Update now.

Note:

Note: Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the update. During the update, do not use the stylus pen, place it next to your phone, and ensure that they remain connected over Bluetooth.

If you exit the update screen during the update, you can check the progress of the update by going to Settings > Accessibility features > M-Pen 2 > Firmware update. You can also swipe down on the home screen to display the notification panel, and check the update progress.
