Problem
The resolution is only 2580 x 1080 and the higher 3440 X 1440 resolution (standard) can't be selected after a host is connected to the monitor via the HDMI port.
Cause
The signal transmission capability of the graphics card or cable that uses the HDMI 1.4 port is insufficient, or the graphics card does not support the aspect ratio for the 3440 x 1440 resolution, resulting in the resolution being limited to 2580 x 1080.
Solution
- It is recommended that you use a graphics card with an HDMI 2.0 port or a port of a higher specification and a cable with an HDMI 2.0 port or a port of a higher specification for the monitor to achieve the optimal resolution.
- If the graphics card has a DP or Type-C port, it is recommended that you use it with the original DP-to-DP cable or Type-C to Type-C cable of the monitor to achieve the optimal resolution.
It is not recommended that you replace the graphics card of a Huawei desktop computer by yourself. If you need to replace the graphics card, call the Huawei customer service hotline.
