[HUAWEI] Remote shutter on my watch does not work |
Unable to find Remote shutter in the app list on my watch
- This app may have been deleted by mistake. To add it back, go to Settings > Apps > Apps > System processes > Restore system apps and touch Remote shutter.
- Remote shutter works only when your watch is connected to a certain HUAWEI phone that runs EMUI 8.1 or later. If your phone system meets the condition but you still cannot find Remote shutter on your watch, it indicates that the feature is not supported on your phone.
A message displays indicating a connection failure after Remote shutter is opened
Remote shutter requires that your watch and phone be connected via Bluetooth. Make sure that your watch is linked with the Huawei Health app, and that the app is running in the background.
The message "Connection error. Please try again." or "Unable to load. Camera unavailable." displays after Remote shutter is opened
- Update your watch to the latest system version, then try again.
- If the issue persists, restart the Camera app on your phone, and try again.
- Check whether the Ultra snapshot feature on your phone works as normal. If not, resolve this issue, then try again.
- Restart your phone and watch, and try again.
If the issue persists, bring your device and proof of purchase to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance.
Remote shutter only works with the pre-installed Camera app in the standard Photo or Video mode. This feature is not supported in Aperture, Night, AR, Slow-mo, Moving picture, Panorama, or Time-lapse mode. It does not work either with third-party camera apps.
