There is a sound when I press the button or rotate the crown.

The rotating crown is designed to come with a metal spring to make rotation smooth.

It is normal that there is a sound when the metal spring rebounds or rubs. This does not affect your normal use. Some products come with springs on their buttons, so there is no such a sound.

The button/rotating crown shakes.

The button/rotating crown is designed to be pressed and rotated, so there is a certain gap between the button/rotating crown and the watch case to make movement smooth. Therefore, it slightly shakes under external force.

This is normal and does not affect the functions of the button/rotating crown. All buttons/rotating crowns of HUAWEI watches have passed strict reliability tests and functional tests. Please rest assured.

The button/rotating crown feel different.

This is due to different specifications. The button/rotating crown is a movable part. The hardware design varies depending on the watch model.

  • This is normal. If the button/rotating crown works, please rest assured. All buttons/rotating crowns of HUAWEI watches have passed strict reliability tests and functional tests.
  • To prevent accidental presses on your HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate 2 Series watch while diving at a depth of 150 meters, the crown features a stiffer rotation than other products. All HUAWEI products have passed strict tests. Please rest assured.

The button/rotating crown is difficult to rotate, cannot rotate, or feels stuck.

The button/rotating crown is a movable part. The internal structure is coated with lubricant. If the button/rotating crown is not used for a long time, the lubricant will solidify.

  • If this is a new device, you need to use it for a period of time to make sure that the lubricant fully immerses into the internal structure. If the device has not been used for a long time, you need to use it for a while to reactivate the lubricant.
  • There is a gap between the button/rotating crown and the watch case to leave a sufficient movement space. If the gap is stained with foreign objects, such as dandruff, emulsion, coke, soy sauce, coffee, sweat residues, and sand, these objects may enter the crown, making it difficult to rotate. It is recommended that you clean the button/rotating crown on a regular basis.
