Refer to the following to troubleshoot:
- Check the watch version
Update the kids watch to the latest version. For details, see Updating a kids watch.
- The kids watch heats up, resulting in stuttering and slow responses
Electronic communication products generate heat after continuous use. Therefore, heat dissipation is required to reduce the temperature of the products. If the device is used continuously or the network signal is poor, the heat dissipation of the device may not be in time and the device may heat up slightly. If the watch is overheated, the system performance will deteriorate. Try using the watch less frequently and waiting for the temperature to return to normal.
- A network-required app stutters due to a poor network connection
If the network environment is poor, the network resources of apps that require network connection may load slowly, causing stuttering. Make sure that your watch has a stable network connection before using such apps. To check the network signal, view the signal bars on the watch (at least two bars are required).
- If the watch's network is abnormal, move to an area with a good signal such as an outdoor area or a balcony and then try again. If the issue persists, remove and re-insert the SIM card and then restart the watch.
- The kids watch stutters due to full memory
A memory shortage on the watch may affect the normal use of some features, resulting in issues such as stuttering during use.
- If the watch's storage space is insufficient, send images or videos to a parent, and then clear content from Gallery and SMS messages on the watch to free up storage space.
- The kids watch stutters continuously, after not having been powered off or restarted in a while
Remember to restart your watch once a week. This will clear the cache and allow for smoother operations. (This solution only applies when continual stuttering occurs.)
If the issue persists
- Main admin: If the stuttering issue persists, restore the device to its factory settings. (A factory reset will clear all call logs, chat records, SMS messages, photos, and other personal data from the kids watch, and require re-pairing with a phone for future wearable use. Exercise caution before proceeding.)
- If the issue remains unresolved, back up your data and take your device and proof of purchase to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance.
